BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Pricing is based on 2 guests and should the number of guests vary, the tariff may alter.
All reservations require full payment prior to arrival.
On arrival we require a valid payment card to be kept on file for any additional charges incurred throughout your stay.
Payment details will be kept securely on file 14 days after the original departure date of the reservation unless a future reservation with the same Guest Profile exists.
Any extra guests must be paid for upon arrival.
Cancellations outside of the below date ranges will incur a $25.00 cancellation fee, or you may choose to hold the full payment as a credit for a future booking. Credits are valid for 12 months from day of issuing. Cancellation within the below date ranges will result in forfeiture of the total payment.
Off-peak seasons: 2 days prior to arrival
Peak seasons: 7 days prior to arrival
Peak seasons are any long weekend, school holidays, Easter weekend, Christmas and local or special events. Off-peak season is other periods outside peak season.
Seasonal campaigns may be promoted with a non-refundable cancellation policy. Where applicable this will be clearly displayed in the rate details during the booking process.
We do not refund for early departures, Covid or weather-related cancellations.
Prices are subject to change without notice.
Any change in reservation term will be treated as a new booking and additional charges may apply. Any extension to a booking is subject to availability. If there is an early departure prior, or late arrival to the reserved date, no refund will be made.
RETREAT RULES
To ensure you have the most relaxed and enjoyable stay possible, please respect other people’s space and property, and follow the few simple rules.
By making a booking at Kipara Tropical Rainforest Retreat you agree to abide by the booking terms and conditions and rules as set out below and in our cancellation policy.
You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking. Rates are based on 2 adults - fees apply for additional occupants. The person registering at check-in must be at least 18 years of age.
The person whose name appears on the booking form is responsible for ensuring compliance with the booking terms and conditions and the rules by all members of his/her party and visitors.
CHECK OUT is at 10.00am Should you check out outside reception hours, simply drop your keys in the KEY BOX located on the outside wall of the reception building upon your departure. Late checkout can be organized at reception according to availability. Extra charges might apply. Please take your rubbish to the large green bins before departure.
Dishes & Bin Emptied; We ask that you please wash your dishes before departure if they are a not a $50 cleaning charge will occur.
Visitors – are welcome while you are present and their behaviour is your responsibility. Visitor vehicles are not permitted in the Park.
Smoking is not permitted inside cabins, rooms & camp kitchen. If there are traces of smoking there will be a $100 cleaning charged.
On Departure We ask that your please leave your cabin/room in a tidy manner with dishes please cleaned or a $50 cleaning charge will apply.
Speed limit 5kph – Roads with the Retreat are all shared roadways with pedestrians, observe the speed limits and be aware when driving in the park.
Pool, BBQ and Camp Kitchen – The pool is open daily from 7.30 am until 9.30pm. Children under 12 should always be accompanied by an adult. No glass or food in the pool area. BBQs are available by the pool and at the Camp Kitchens. Please clean after use. Cook tops and microwaves are available at the camp kitchens. Cooking appliances, crockery and BBQ cooking tools are available in the BBQ areas by the private rooms or please ask at reception if items are low.
Laundry Facilities Are located in the central building near the Private Room areas. Both washing and drying machines are a payment reader for cards & some coin operated. Laundry Powder is available at the Reception area. There is an iron & ironing board in the laundry.
Waste Services – Please take all rubbish out of your rooms and cabins and dispose of in the green lid bins provided. Recycling bins are placed around the park – please use for recycling bottles, cans etc. Please DON’T leave rubbish outside due to wildlife will go through and make a mess.
Pets – sorry no pets are permitted in the park except for a registered guide, hearing or assistance animal with an identity card.
Noise– Kipara as with all parks has a 10pm noise policy. Anyone found disturbing guests after 10pm will be asked to leave the park without a refund. We also ask all guests to be conscious and respect others if leaving early in the mornings, particularly prior to 7am.
Behaviour – Illegal substance use, illegal activity, excessive consumption of alcohol, disruptive behaviour and acts of violence/abuse within the Park will not be tolerated, the guest will be asked to leave and the police will be notified
Evacuation – in the event of an emergency make your way calmly to the designated emergency assembly point.
